THE TEAM
Today, CEO Adré Schreuder heads up a 35 member full-time research team of highly trained specialists, performing the duties of client directors, junior researchers and assistants. Consulta Research also employs a full complement of fieldwork-orientated staff and operates an 80-agent communication centre equipped to conduct more than 190 000 telephonic interviews per year. We continue to hand-pick new researchers based on the extent of their qualifications and their experience in the field and we expect our people to continually further and advance their studies, year-on-year. The fruit of this learning culture is that we boast a dynamic and constantly evolving team of high calibre researchers.

Adré Schreuder completed his junior degrees (Bachelors of Commerce and Honours degree) as well as his master of commerce dissertation cum laude at the University of Pretoria. He started his career as Marketing Assistant at the Marketing Division of the Department of Post and Telecommunication. After three years he accepted a position as Lecturer at the Department of Business Economics of the University of Pretoria in 1988. He was promoted to Senior Lecturer at the end of 1989.
In January 1991 Adré made an important academic change to the Rand Afrikaans University (Johannesburg) where he completed his doctoral thesis in 1992. In July 1993 Adré was promoted to Associate Professor. He returned to the University of Pretoria in 1994 to assume the position of Chair in Marketing and promotion to full professor at the Department of Marketing and Communication Management.
The next important career milestone was when Adré was appointed as Head of Department of Marketing and Communication Management in January 1996. The academic chapter of his career was appropriately closed when he was awarded a position as extra-ordinary professor and negotiated a share equity deal with the University of Pretoria to found a market research consulting firm called Consulta Research at the end of 1999.
He actively consults to large, medium and small businesses and serves as non-executive director in numerous other companies. He has published at numerous local and international conferences and publications. Adré has been acknowledged in the South African market research industry as the leading expert in customer satisfaction and customer experience research and measurement. International acknowledgement of the contribution made to the measurement of customer satisfaction came in November 2005 when Prof Adré Schreuder was invited to the International Council for Financial Competition to host a panel presentation “Next Generation Customer Experience and Loyalty Measurement.”

After three years spent as a professional musician and singer, Yolandi turned her attentions towards office work. Her excellent typing skills and her love of law have allowed her to be very successful in her role as legal secretary.
After she got married, she started writing up books for her husband’s auditor. That is when she discovered her unusual knack for figures. When they moved to Pretoria in 2000, she worked as a bookkeeper for a recycling company before joining Consulta in 2002 as Senior Bookkeeper. She was promoted to Financial Manager in January 2008 and also became a shareholder and Director of the Consulta Board.
Yolandi obtained a BCom degree from the University of Pretoria, specialising in management in 2010. Currently, she manages the Finances & HR divisions of the company and also acts as Company Secretary.

George joined Consulta Research in July 2002 as a Fieldwork Manager. He started the Call Centre in 2004 with a 10 Seater and yearly increased the Call Centre capacity, with a current capacity of 80 Seats. He was promoted to Executive – Consulta Direct in 2005.
He manages all telephonic and Face –to- Face fieldwork to be done by Consulta Research, with his focus on quality.

Willie has a Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Management College (United Kingdom) specializing in Corporate (IT) Governance, Corporate Strategy Development and Creative Problem Solving. He further holds a Diploma and Higher Diploma in Business Management.
Willie is responsible for the executive management of information communication and technology within Consulta Research and its subsidaries. He further has experience in the development of analysis of business rules as part of strategy development to combat information leakage. This included the evaluation, mapping and development of the strategy development and implementation thereof.
He also developed the information governance strategy for a large entertainment bluechip company and assisted in the restructure of the Information technology department to be aligned with the new IS strategy.
He led a team in the development of a Post Implementation evaluation strategy for Standard Bank for the independent measurement of project business realization.
As part of the Ernst and Young team he was responsible for the technology management strategy and security management function for the group. He focus on delivered risk based consultation and assessments to add value to the business and improve the management and security control environment. This included business process and measurement development.
