ConsultaPanel focuses solely on online survey participation and completion — in exchange for remuneration.

This is how it works: online survey participants throughout the country are invited to complete a questionnaire on the interactive ConsultaPanel website.


Those who complete the questionnaire according to the instructions are generously rewarded, either in cash, discount vouchers or in “virtual currency” that can be redeemed at a variety of online stores.

ConsultaPanel’s online platform harnesses the latest programming solutions to provide participants with a complete portal, offering assistance with completing questionnaires and with managing their rewards accounts.

Our market research clients now enjoy a whole new dimension of customer feedback from a diverse range of participants, mostly made up of South African panel members. This provides a comprehensive database of demographical characteristics from which to extract an extremely focused research sample.

Clients are able to request information from highly targeted sample groups — gender, age, education level, income stream, geographical location etc. On receiving the sample specifications from a client, the ConsultaPanel team designs a customised online poll to extract exactly the required information from this sample group. Then we issue invitations to selected participants to log in and take part in the survey.

The Internet has rapidly become today’s preferred method of obtaining information. Internet usage has also risen dramatically over the past few years and market researchers have recognised the cost-saving, rapid turnaround and precise information extraction potential of interactive online surveys. We are aware, however that many South African customers do not yet have access to the Internet and we have addressed this by making provision for a telephonic panel of customers.
